Coffee specialties from Stuttgart, directly imported from Costa Rica, from one of the best growing areas in the world. And that since 1930! Together with owner Martina Hunzelmann, we invite you on a tour through the culinary world of Hochland, followed by dinner in the green coffee warehouse.
Hochland stands for exquisite coffee specialities from Stuttgart and is the leading coffee manufacturer in Germany. As a “Manufaktur” Hochland is a small company – albeit the largest among artisan coffee roasters – based on traditional craftsmanship and personal passion. The coffee comes straight from Costa Rica, where it grows at high altitudes from 1,600 metres. Since 1930, the company has prepared its speciality coffees in small batches every day. Gustav Hunzelmann opened the first coffee roastery at Königstrasse 45. In 1968, the company moved into its own manufacturing building in Degerloch with direct sales, a green coffee warehouse, shipping department, and roastery. Today, Martina Hunzelmann is the third generation to run the company. Since 2010, its in-house chocolaterie has enriched the culinary world with exquisite chocolate creations.
