REGULA LÜSCHER has a deep understanding of urban planning from diverse perspectives. As a trained architect, she co-founded a successful architecture firm in Switzerland with a partner, served as the deputy director of the Office of Urban Development in Zurich, and was the Senate Building Director of Berlin from 2007 to 2021. With approximately 25 years in high-ranking positions in administration both domestically and internationally, she now acts as an expert in the political arena, in negotiations, architectural competitions, and public participation processes, bridging the gap between public and private interests.
In light of the complex transformations in the construction industry – from climate adaptation to the capital market – there is often a call for a new collaboration among all stakeholders. Where does she see a ‘Common Ground’?
