WERNER WEINGRABER, MBA (CFA), is the managing director of Madaster Austria. Launched in 2017 in the Netherlands, Madaster is a global online platform that enables the circular use of products and materials in the construction industry. A cadastre for materials, based on the real estate cadastre. Their material passport provides information: Which materials are installed where? How can they be reused or recycled?

With ANGELIKA FITZ, the director of Architekturzentrum Wien, we look at the big picture. For her, museums are, first and foremost, change makers: Where do we stand in dealing with materials and other resources in architecture today? What does it take to implement circular construction on a large scale?
